Get Involved

The goal of our ministry is to worship God, make disciples, and share the gospel.  We want to help you identify your next step to grow in your walk with Christ so that you may experience His love and share that love with others through your service and testimony within the church and community.  No matter your age or level of spiritual maturity we have opportunities for you be a part of our ministry.

Worshiping God

God-honoring worship is something we strive for.  Many church members get involved in our music and greeting ministries.  Some play instruments.  Some are vocalists.  Others are involved in the choir, but they all work together to make our service one of worship and praise to God.  Our greeting team also plays an important role in our worship.  They are involved in helping guests, ensuring the safety of the congregation during services, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.  Both groups of volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Making Disciples

Apart from their faith in Christ, nothing is more important to a Christian than discipleship.  It is through our discipleship that we are able to worship God in spirit and truth and share the gospel of Jesus as the Bible commands us to.  The key to discipleship is knowing God’s Word and helping each other grow in our relationship with Jesus as we influence each other’s lives.  We provide that opportunity through our Bible study groups on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.  Whether teaching or attending, we encourage all of our people to be involved in studying God’s Word together.

Sharing the Gospel

One of the most important values of this church is our mission to share the gospel.  We are active in our community sharing the gospel and assisting those in need.  We are also active in sending and supporting local and foreign missionaries with our money and with our prayers.  Each year, small groups from our church travel to various locations to assist in practical projects and evangelistic outreach.  Not everyone will be a full-time missionary, but we encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers by living out their faith and ministering to others.
